Are you converting to Judaism? I will be, but I am not at the moment because of my age.

Why Judaism?Judaism satisfies me on a spiritual level. Wanna talk about it more? Message me :) One day I’m sure I’ll write a whole thingy dedicated to this question, but as for now, I can’t find the right words with which to say it nor do I have the time.

Can black/half black/non-white people convert to Judaism/be Jewish?YES! Anyone of any ethnicity can convert to Judaism if they so choose. Jews aren’t just white, there are a lot of born Jews of color, they aren’t just converts!

How will you convert (which sect)? Orthodox

When you convert, will you legally change your name to your Hebrew name? That’s some years away and my thoughts may change, but right now I can confidently say no.

Do you keep kosher? I try too! I make some mistakes, I’m still in the learning process, also my kitchen isn’t technically Kosher so there’s that too, but I do only eat kosher foods.

Do you dress following the guidelines of tzniutFor the most part, yes. I don’t have enough skirts at the moment for wearing them full time, but I’m working on that.

Since you are black, are you an Ethiopian Jew? No.
